Las VegasTrade Shows

Recently Las Vegas held two trade shows that are related to Real Estate. The International Builders show which is the largest trade show for home builders and remodelers and World of Concrete the largest International show for concrete and masonry.

Guess what, the outlook from both shows was positive. Still not perfect but upbeat with builders and contractors throughout the country seeing an improvement. One concern is material cost. Since the downturn a lot of suppliers have either gone out of business or reduced there output of product so much that now they can’t keep up with demand. Which  can be a problem for builders when appraisers don’t, can’t or won’t take that cost factor into consideration.

I’ve never had the opportunity to attend the builders show but have attended World of Concrete several times. It’s an interesting show with everything from concrete stain colors and sealers to the cables that support mile long bridges.

Anyway I’m just glad to know that the industries that feed my family are doing better. So think about this if housing, construction and infrastructure are doing better then so is our country, slowly but surely.
