Free Money!

This past winter was anything but productive in Real Estate. However, change is on the way! Even with interest rates so low, people just don’t have money saved for their down payment and closing costs. Consumers need a little help and we now have it!
As Realtors, we rely on our fellow lenders and Mortgage Officers to keep us updated on any new bond programs that come available for our Buyers which in turn help our Sellers.
In case you haven’t heard, there is soon to be “Free Money” from Community Action coming February. You do NOT have to be a first time home buyer to qualify for this program There are certain income guidelines Buyer must meet. The Oklahoma and Canadian County Down Payment and Closing Costs Program has extended their areas to include: Arcadia, Bethany, Choctaw, Midwest City, Mustang, the Village, Warr Acres and many more. So if you have a client who is still “saving” for their down payment and closing costs, this may work for them. Call your Lender and ask about this great program!
