Insurance are you covered?

Last week a dear friend and former neighbor of 20 years made the news, will really it was her house (that I’d sold her) it burned down. Everyone is okay and pictures and personal items with sentimental value can be saved but what about the house the actual structure? It’s totaled it will have to be demolished. Fortunately she has good insurance more importantly a good insurance agent. Her agent who is also my insurance agent is good about making sure you have the right amount of coverage. Not the most affordable premium but the best coverage for your needs at a reasonable price. So thanks Scott Weidemann for taking care of Vickie and my family and the people that I tell to call you.

My friend will be able to rebuild and not have the financial stress from being under insured.

So I guess my question, are you covered, is something we all might want to check into. A few simple questions. Do I have total replacement on structure and content? Will my mortgage be paid off? Can I rebuild or buy something else? What about water damage, these are questions we need to ask because the answer might surprise you.
